This weeks theme is: It was recently my birthday! Choose books with my favourite colour on the cover (green)
I love green, it's such a pretty colour and I love books with green covers so I'm excited for this topic!
1. What was the last book you read with green on the cover?
The State of Grace by Rachael Lucas. I read this last month and I thought it was okay. I liked it, it was a cute contemporary read with an important message but it didn't completely blow me away.
2. What is the next book you think you'll read with green on the cover?
Maybe Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. I feel like I'm the only girl in the entire book community who hasn't read this book yet but I recently bought it and it definitely sounds like something I would enjoy so I'll hopefully be picking that up very soon.
3. What it is the best book you've read with green on the cover?
Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson. I read this book a while ago now but I remember I absolutely adored it. I gave it 5/5 stars and it was just the perfect summer read with amazing character development and an exciting plot with of course, romance.
4. What is the worst book you've read with green on the cover?
Shock, here it comes again. The Maze Runner by James Dashner. Not much to say for this considering I mention how much I hated this book in every single post but I didn't finish it, the movies are a million times better than the book and I just really hated it.
5. What is the best cover of a book with green on the cover?
Does that even make sense since the theme is about covers, I don't even know but I would have to say Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins. I think this is my favourite cover from the series, I just love the ombre green and maybe that's just because green is my favourite cover I don't know but there's just something really appealing about it.
I hope you enjoyed today's post! What would your answers be? Let me know in the comments!
You really seem to rip into the maze runner a lot. Do you have a post telling us why? It'd be interesting to read
ReplyDeleteI am planning to re-read it soon so I can be accurate before I make this post as I read it a while ago, but there will be one coming :)
